on a break, not sure what to do
my boyfriend and i recently went on a break because of our mental health. my depression and symptoms/ways it makes me act have brought back his, which he dealt with really badly a while ago. he says we can get back together if i can get help/therapy, but therapy is something my family can’t afford. i’m not sure what else i can do. i downloaded this app today but have been wanting to seek help for a while
i also am trying to get an appointment with my school’s counselor (i am in high school) but can’t get in contact with her until after thanksgiving break + then i will have to wait to see her because other students need her too
are there any suggestions as to what i can do? i really love him and want to get back together but i need help first

could you list the areas in which you need help for?
better/healthy coping mechanisms, depression, anxiety, overthinking, attachment issues and anger management seem to be my biggest problems

with what situation are you looking for better coping mechanisms?
i have not, and i am looking to be able to cope with my feelings or learn how to control them so i don’t bring the people around me down. sometimes they are so intense and i can’t handle them which causes me to blow up at other people. people tell me i bottle up my emotions until they get too bad but i don’t know what else to do about them

as far as bottled up emotions are concerned if its too much sadness then you can find a quiet place to cry , if its anger you can take it out in gym or a punching bag. but just in case you need a specific answer , you can describe a situation to get your answer.
