What would you do if your spouse didn't really answer your question(s) repeatedly?
It happens to me. And I think I'm so tired because of it. I'm at the point where I'd like to stop initiate any conversations right now.

It's emotionally draining to be repeatedly asked the same questions. If you've asked it once, accept and understand the answer you got (no answer is an answer too, it says "I don't want to talk about this"). If you're unhappy about the quality or content of the answers, that is a different matter and won't be resolved by repeating the same process to expect a different result.
If your partner has always been this way, perhaps that is their communication style. If it's a recent change then you might need to analyze why that might have happened.
