Sometimes I think I'm losing my mind

Today is moving soooo slooooowly.

I've got a job interview tomorrow that I can't concentrate on preparing for and my ex-wife is starting to make noises about altering the agreements we've figured out already. I want to the house sold regardless of whether we make any money on it or not so we can afford to move out separately.

Sometimes I think I'm losing my mind.

Hi, I see you posted this yesterday so am sorry for late response but how did you get on with job ?. I'm only a member so a, no expert but You are not losing your mind ! It's because of the time you had on your hands and because you're in the quiet your mind has started to over think everything that is going on in your mind and you appear to have lots on your mind at the moment and you can't control it, there is no guaranteed magic answer. The best you can do is to try an take a step back and calm yourself enough for your brain to refocus. I find drinking herbal teas such as nettle or Camomille help along with distractions such as the chat rooms but on here or busy yourself with cleaning or going for walk, etc. You can only do so much at a time, you have to be able to force yourself to be kind to you which Is something I've never been good at. Best of luck to you, take care. 😎

@Mtude Thanks. The interview went well, I think. Who knows? That's not up to me. There people viewing the house today tomorrow and Saturday, one is a couple seeing it for the third time. Hopefully that means something. I don't know. I just have to endure a little while longer, I guess.

All you can do with interviews is do your best which .I'm sure you did, the problem is you are relying upon someone else and there is never a guaranteed certainty on the answer but you got through it and you should be proud of that especially with everything else going on.

I would have said that if they came back twice they were interested, a third visit has got to be a slam dunk surely !!!!! Good Luck, but with the way housing is, there is more demand than supply I think so you should see it go soon. Hopefully you will be able push through the short term pain in favour of the long term aim of being happy and driven again. You will still succceed, I get this very determined attitude from you !
