"Unconditional Love"

"Lucca"
In my deepest hours of pain we acquired a nut-case cat, who is able to keep me entertained. When the heaviest prescription opiates could not cut the pain, she would make up some new game that could get me laughing. This cut a spiral of pain and has allowed me to draw off all pain killers.

My dog was my constant companion. He went everywhere with me.
I think its more about losing ourselves, when we lose people we care about.
Being with people we care about gives us a strong sense of self which is projected by their actions and what they do, so we feel we are who we are because of what they do and because their views matter as they matter to us. So we associate ourselves with people who are close and its not only about losing them I think, its also about times when the relationship feels broken or isnt going good. so its not just losing them that affects us.
And when something or someone that matters to us gets broken or is toxic, we have to replace it with something, and the need to do is strong as we can feel by the need to hang on to it and recover the pieces and all that used to be. I think this becomes the greatest challenge, because of how strongly we identify with the person it can be really painful and difficult
I think that sense of self is naturally an idea we get of who we are from people around us and their view of us, which becomes part of our identity, what we associate with, and I am trying to peice it all together and think about all this and also how to protect ourselves and also create a new self identiy with which we identify when the current one is toxic or harmful.
I think one way might be to self affirm that what others think which seems to be negative isnt really us or what we feel within us, this is the first part of rejecting whats wrong, then we have to propose to our mind a new identity or an idea of who we feel we are or what we would like to believe we are as the truth or whats really us.

I didn't find them graphic really..
How do you cope with emotional abuse.
You dont cope with emotional abuse and thats maybe one way we cope with it, by not coping with it, by adapting to it and its nature and finding a way with which our mind builds a degree of tolerance and somehow normalising it so that it stops bothering the mind.
So emtional abuse cant be coped with or shouldnt be coped with, rather it should be escaped from and removed, like you shouldn't tolerate or cope with or handle fire, some things are best to be left.
interestingly or sadly we even begin to rely on it or might even find it hard to let go of, the situation or person that brings the abuse, and thats understandable even though it might be bewildering as to why would we want to cling on to something that harms us and that we know it harms us.
I think it might branch out over to many possibilites as to why, but at the core of it the nature and its reasons remain uncomplicated and simple to gather and make sense of, and mostly its in cases where we attach very strongly our self worth to that relationship, and losing that relationship might mean losing a part of ourself even though it carries pain.
Just looking at it we might tend to hammer people for not being "strong" to leave relationships, but its not about choice or strength as much about helplessness and not having a good way out with which they leave with no additional harm, in short, its best to always try to understand and if to judge, to judge each of us to be human and who do their best with waht they are given.
