For me pride and prejudice is that book, the character of Darcy where he does good things without any need of appreciation or recognition.

Daydream by Hannah Grace. This one I really empathized with, specifically with how the fmc interacts with her family. It’s also kinda found family so like what else do ya need?

The wingman by Stephanie Archer. This one was kinda similar, but with how the fmc sees herself and grows after a break-up. Again found family….

Both are contemporary romances but I felt deeply like I could really empathize with what the fmcs were going through. And seeing their confidences grow, I would like to say, helped me.
