@reliableCake732 Pride and Prejudice is a beautiful read. Jane Austen's novels are a romance reader's paradise. They're light reads with an assured happy ending.

The summer I turned pretty is one trilogy I haven’t read but I’ve heard some good things about it. That one depends on which tropes you like and your taste.

The twisted series I have read, and I really really love it. It’s connected to the King of _ series, and I have eagerly read through all eight books of both series’. Some people don’t like Ana Huang’s style of writing but overall I would def recommend!

Which books have you read? (Also what age range?)

The inheritance games! Mystery with some romance, A nobody girl who lives out of almost nothing inherits a wellknown businessman’s fortune that was going to go to the man’s grandsons.

Always Florence/Love Me Forever! Two book series that doesn’t have much spice but it’s very cutesy and is set in a small town.

Once Upon a Broken Heart Trilogy/Caraval Trilogy! 🤭🫠 Not a ton of spice in the first and the second trilogy should be the same. I freaking love Jacks and some of his lines almost k-i-l-l me

Divine Rivals/Ruthless Vows! 😫🫠 I also freaking love Roman and the writing is so beautiful.

This Woven Kingdom series! This one is unfortunately ongoing and there’s quite a while to wait. I read this one thinking it was finished and the cliffhanger left me so upset but it’s so darn good.

@reliableCake732 I love The song of Achilles! It's intense, touching, both heartwarming and heart wrenching. If you're fascinated by Greek mythology, it's my favourite myth retelling ever, I really recommend it.

Pride and Prejudice is a great classic, but bear in my mind that the writing style will of course be different than modern books and you have to figure out whether it's your cup of tea.

Since you also asked for recommendations, something really intense and really original is "This is how you lose the time war": it's and award-winning epistolary sapphic romance with a sci-fi setting.
