What is the role of the host. What is sharing circle all about

@RideaRainbow

Hi Rainbow

The sharing circle is a group chat space that allows members to have 5 minutes to share something that's on their mind and then other members and listeners in the group listen and support the member.

As a host, your role would include following a script to introduce the circle and the guidelines. Then you would need to keep track of the queue which people enter by typing [*] and then your role would be to allow people to share in turn and ensure that participants follow the rules and guidelines.

It's a great experience - maybe pop along to a sharing circle when you can to see how it all works :)

Hope this helps :)

@Lou73 and @ridearainbow Hi! Actually this circle is for listeners only, where they may share about their listener journey. A host will lead a session or sessions upon a script or have icebreakers to help make the room a comfortable sharing place. The listener sharing circle is not meant for personal support, but we do allow challenges, achievements, roles/events, thoughts, etc to be shared.
