Community Team Quarterly Event Coming Up Tuesday February 25th! Agenda & RSVP!!

Hi, Community! We're looking forward to hanging out with you this upcoming Tuesday and celebrating Kindness Month!
Here's the agenda to look toward to:
❣️ What act of kindness on Cups, big or small, has had the biggest impact on you, either as the giver or receiver?
❣️ What are some small, everyday acts of kindness that we can all incorporate into our lives?
❣️ What are some ways we can spread kindness in our community?
-
Can't make it on Tuesday? No problem! We still want to hear from you. Please feel free to answer any or all of the questions above in the comments below. Your thoughts and experiences are valuable, and we want to create an inclusive space where everyone can share in the spirit of kindness that bonds our community!

@Heather225
Love how the smallest acts of kindness too create the largest ripples here! 💛
A biggg shout out to everyone involved in spreading kindness around the community. 💛
❣️ What act of kindness on Cups, big or small, has had the biggest impact on you, either as the giver or receiver?
Something that always makes me feel warm is seeing people show up for each other here, supporting one another, sharing hope and compassion with each other. There's no topping this feeling of how soooooo many kind souls share this beautiful community! 🥰
❣️ What are some small, everyday acts of kindness that we can all incorporate into our lives?
Ask, don't assume.
Accept, don't judge.
Give what you can, when you can; without expecting returns.
Be respectful, Be gentle, Be accommodating; we really do not know what battle someone is fighting.
A genuine smile, an honest kind word, a thoughtful gesture costs absolutely nothing.
❣️ What are some ways we can spread kindness in our community?
Oh wow so many ways!
In forumland-
🌻 Upvote/ heart any posts you come across, specially the ones that have "0", it takes less than 2 seconds and still is one of the kindest things to do.
🌻 Reply to your peer's posts in a compassionate and effective manner. Peer interaction is what this community is all about.
🌻 Even better if you can take out the time to reply to Needs Reply Threads, these are threads with 0 responses yet, and it'll mean the world to the person you're responding and supporting to.
In Chatrooms-
🌹 If you see someone entering the chatroom, no matter how involved you are in the chat otherwise, pay attention and care to throw a little "welcome in, XYZ person", most people enter rooms and don't say anything when they don't feel welcome enough. A small "hello" too goes a long way!
🌹 The art of noticing! If you see someone entering the chat and not saying much, maybe ask an ice breaker, share a brief of what the room was chatting about and invite them to join. Ask them about their day etc.
🌹Be inclusive and group-oriented. It's possible that even in the busiest of chatrooms 2 or more people get engrossed in their own topic, while that's okay too, at times it can discourage others from participating so keep chatroom topics to something more people can join in, and inviting people to share their thoughts can be a very kind thing to do.
In PMs and General reminders/ ideas-
🌺 Be sure to follow our Community Guidelines please.
🌺 If someone has shared something with you in confidence in PMs, don't bring it up in public spaces like Group chatrooms and Forums.
This can also include someone's first name, age, gender or similar personal information, as many people are comfortable sharing that with specific people in PMs if they are talking regularly, but not with everyone, publically. Ask if there's a doubt, but respect their choice anyway.
🌺 Our beloved Peer Appreciation Program is on a hault currently, but can be used again soon, for sending out appreciation messages to self/ fellow peers.
🌺 Members if you have found any listeners supportive consistently, consider nominating them through the Tulip Project form!
🌺 So many simple ways to be kind around here, be honest, be kind, be respectful, be polite, be accepting, be supportive, show genuine appreciation!
