Why is Music So Good?
Oh my God, God, you really sent it down to me
this music in my ears truly sounds like angel whisperings
overcome by the light and so my vision's not clear,
but it's really the waves in rhythm I'm desperate to hear
My pink toenails catch slight glimpses
in the peaks of your rich sun-rays
and connect me to comfort every snug butterfly
trapped in my blushing heart-cage
The sound in your eyes feels like the grasp on my hip
it moves with the music and I sway in your grip
your grip sounds so sweet and is assertive between your lips
I taste it in my ears and the melody switches pitch
I study the tunes as they move and roll note to note
eye to eye, side to side, singing as it goes
the voice deep and smooth makes me feel right to know
the music connecting us is syncing in our bones
The beating of the drops of those chords
felt so deep in my chest
evoke the thumping of blood ceaselessly pumping
like rings in space never coming to rest
Darting slow, moving grand, with precision and sweet ease
quickly when we want to and absolutely may it please
we feel good like the planets eloping neatly among debris
as our nebulic bodies crystallize in harmony of our notes, sounds, and strings
