The Castle of Dreams
Snow falls thick where silence sings,
Shrouding spires in crystalline rings.
High on cliffs where shadows sigh,
A dream in stone meets the winter sky.
Its turreted halls, like frozen flame,
Hold mysteries bound to a monarch’s name.
Golden arches and jeweled hues,
Mask secrets buried in icy blues.
The fairytale stirs, alive yet frail,
Through halls that hum with a phantom’s wail.
Sleeping Beauty lies in gilded repose,
But her glassy stare no peace bestows.
Figures glide through the frost-clad glow,
Knights of ash and queens of snow.
Their laughter sharp, their eyes unseen,
Dancing to a dirge of what might have been.
The throne room hums with a haunting delight,
A spectral choir in silver light.
The air grows thick, the frost takes hold,
Stories spun in whispers cold.
"Stay," the wind murmurs, "Be our guest,
Where dreams uncoil but never rest."
Here beauty thrives, yet shadows creep,
A castle awake while the dreamer sleeps.
Also, Merry Christmas🥰🎅🎄

Wonderful azure!! I hereby crown thee the 'QUEEN OF FANTASY POETRY'...*blowing trumpets and cheers* It was an amazing mix of an AABB rhyme scheme with a lyrical and imaginative plays. There was a lure of horrors of the castle, yet one could not look away from the imagery and beauty it displayed!!
Merry Christmas to you too, Dear Azure!! ^^ *Ho Ho Ho*
