Smiling Through the Pain

Smiling through the pain, with tears in her eyes,

Some call them happy tears, but she silently cries.

A single daughter, with strength untold,

A bread winner's heart, steady and bold.

Independent she stands, facing each new day,

Carrying the weight, in her own quiet way.

But behind the smiles, the laughter, the grace,

Lies the struggle she wears in a tender embrace.

For she lost her father, her friend, her guide,

The one who stood close, always by her side.

He was her rock, her greatest supporter,

Now he's gone, yet his love grows ever stronger.

In every step she takes, his memory remains,

A bond unbroken, though distance brings pain.

Through every tear and each quiet sigh,

She smiles through the pain, yet still, she cries.
