SOMETIMES THE WOLF CRIES GIRL...
Sometimes the hero stumbles
And falls right off the page.
Sometimes the princess rolls her eyes,
And says I don't want to be saved.
Sometimes the lady gets a lover,
The one who fails to get her heart.
Sometimes the dusty old lamp,
Is just another broken part.
Sometimes the dragon needs rescuing,
And the villain aches to be helped;
Sometimes in the darkness,
The lost boy, finds himself.
Sometimes the prince is cunning
And not at all what he seemed.
Sometimes behind the the witch's looks,
Is a heart deserving to be the queen.
Sometimes we should not define people,
By by the other person's view-
Just because that's what we've been told;
Does not make it any more true...

I like it! All the fairy tale imagery works excellently for the metaphors they are conveying and makes this an outstanding allegorical piece.
I liked it very much and the message contained within it.

My pleasure. Happy to help.
@wIthpeACE This is fantastic! This piece is so clever and insightful! I love how you break down the typical roles we see in stories. It’s such a breath of fresh air to see characters with flaws and unexpected depth. The idea that we shouldn't define people by others' perceptions is powerful and so relevant. It takes real guts to notice what someone else is going through. That kind of empathy is seriously powerful! Keep spreading that good vibe! I can’t wait to read more of your work—keep it up!
