My poetry
Hi all please dont be that mean to the poetry hope u like it
She was dreaming
But not of a meadow in which her love lay next to her
She was at peace
But not in the way most think of
She was not crying
But neither was she laughing
She was simply present
And her dream made her feel her presence was needed
For once she was not second best
For once she was not a burden
She was the main person in her dream
And that made her stomach turn and do backflips
It made her happy
She couldn’t believe her surroundings
So when she tried to touch the happy world around her
She found out it was all a dream
She started laughing, one which had not an ounce of humour
So dumb of me- she thought to herself
But she was thankful that for once
The universe blessed her
Not with a nightmare
Or no sleep
But with a dream
A daydream <3

I for one, really enjoyed this piece of yours, and could really resonate with your words.
Someone not really happy, not really sad, simply being present in the moment, living life for that very moment in its essence, as the main character, not worrying about the outside world, the dream ends, but oh well, here's a gratitude moment....for now, even if only, in a dream, how great it is to be *present*, to *live*, and ofcourse, a daydream and not an awful nightmare. ❤

thanks so much i hope to relate and inspire with my poetry. I know how hard life can be at times and i want people to know that no matter what happens they should never loose hope. Its a little tough to follow my own words but i hope one day i too will see the positive side of life (:
@bubbleWest2798 aw ofcourse, and I so get that, it is indeed not easy to follow our own words sometimes and being kind towards self also seems like one hard thing to do. I'd like to assure you that you're not alone, you are a "someone" too though, someone deserving of all the love, kindness, compassion, patience and support also. I hope someday comes very soon, super okay to take small steps to reach closer to that day, know that I'm rooting for you fosho! ❤
