I Hope You Stay
I HOPE YOU STAY
By Zen Arashi
In the quiet of your storm,
I see the darkness-
thick like fog,
heavy like a burdened sky.
I also see you,
a flicker in the gray,
a flame that refuses to be snuffed.
The world may feel like a weight,
but there’s a soft earth beneath,
waiting for your feet to rest,
to find solid ground.
I know the silence feels loud,
the thoughts sharp like shattered glass,
but I’m here,
waiting for you to flow,
to speak,
to breathe.
Don’t leave yet-
the rain will pass,
and the flowers will bloom,
even in the cracks of this moment.
You are needed—
for who you are,
this fragile, beautiful soul
who deserves the chance
to heal,
to laugh,
to love again.
I hope you stay,
even when the night is long,
even when the road seems endless-
I’ll walk it with you.

A wonderfully written piece, Zen! It was a blend of the turmoil of life; and strength to live and grow past them. A perfect depiction of hope! It was nice to see the way you value somebody [and that somebody can be any of us...] and make them feel deserved. KEEP IT UP!
