Choice which does not move consequence

I have choices

mind struggles, equations break

either choice, any choice, same result

run or stand my ground, conform or capitulate

behold with clear or drunken mind

choices made only affect the bumpiness of the ride

isn’t about psychology, it’s about the no-win sit I’ve been given

confused and frightened, your aggression and blame steep your hypertension

I sense the sermon forming in your righteous, petty, fragile mind

feeling for you…both pity and abject disgust… the world would have been safer if you had just minded your own business

——-

this “poem” was about the complexity of personal choices in the context of a larger community

@PineTreeTree 🙂❤ that was beautifully written ❤ and so deep! You've been hiding this talent from me🙂

I don't always understand deep poems, but the choices we make are what we think is best in that moment. Unfortunately choices/decisions are not always for the best. I really hope your doing ok? ❤❤ hugs you tightly ❤❤I love you ❤

@PineTreeTree

Really strong, honest writing—hits deep. Reminded me of entropy, how every action to fix or control something just creates chaos elsewhere. Just like in the poem, no matter what choice you make, there’s always an inevitable outcome somewhere.

Hm, An analogous would be shopping...do we buy to feel comfortable, look good or for other- whose appreciation we seek to justify our purchase! A depth perhaps only Knight [a friend and another poet here], can explain! Wonderful..keep it up! ^^
