Hello, I am a listener completing training. Today for a training module I read part of the book "7 Cups for the Searching Soul" by 7 Cups. This is interesting poetry I found on the first page of the training, and I just thought I would share-

"The first cup kisses away my thirst,
and my loneliness is quelled by the second.
The third gives insight worthy of ancient scrolls,
and the fourth exiles my troubles.
My body becomes lighter with the fifth,
and the sixth sends word from immortals.
But the seventh-oh the seventh cup-
if I drink you, a wind will hurry my wings
toward the sacred island.

7 Cups of Tea, by Lu Tong (795 - 835 CE)
Translated by Christopher Nelson"

What do you think or how do you feel about this poetry?

@Sunisshiningandsoareyou Yes, it makes me reflect on my own process of drinking tea. This is even though I don't (usually) drink 7 Cups... I have never drank 7 Cups of tea before. Maybe 5 or 6 from a tea pot :-) The first one definitely quenches my thirst. I think tea can definitely quell loneliness, give insight, and exile troubles too...
