i saw racist comments in the group chat. they got punishment and i muted them. but im so tired of racism. ironic how it happened right after the diversity group discussion. racism hits home to me bc I've encountered it a lot. Im basically every race so every racist comment hits me. i have friends who were bullied over it, felt so depressed about it and race is never something someone should be sad about in theirself. im done. Ive gotten bullied by one race but never did i attack them so tell me why the heck am i seeing racist crap in a site that's supposed to support me. it is sick and disgusting. i will never stand for any sort of racism. racism is the most stupid idea to exist in mankind. why cant we all just get along huh? is it that hard?

@MrMarino

I saw it and reported it too. Sorry you had to deal with that on a website that's built for support. It's quite apalling.

@MrMarino It's honestly disgusting how people actually think it's funny to come into a safe space to spew hatred. I'm sorry you had to deal with that, I know words might not mean much, but just know we're with you. I'm so glad you got this off your chest and I hope nothing like this happens in the future :( It's so strange to me how something such as skin color, something literally no one can control, is supposed to define you in some people's eyes. It's honestly such a crazy concept in my eyes? Like there's literally no basis for racism :")

@MrMarino I totally agree. Growing up with racism all around me and now seeing it in the news has always angered me. I was always so frusturated as a kid not knowing why I was looked and treated differently than the others. I wish there was more bipoc education and a way for our voices to be heard.

@MrMarino

hi, sorry you experienced that! I know how that can be. I had a similar experience in the group support chat room. I sent a message to support but haven't heard back and it's been several days. :/
