Heterogeneous thyroid, painful lymphnodes

I'd like to have a thyroid chat if someone with experience can listen , I have an endocrinologist at the end of this month, I'm not trying to speculate or diagnose just would like to hear of other people's misdiagnosis or diagnosis stories and experiences , wether their drs listened or completely ignored them, how they went with meds etc symptoms...the whole shebang ....thyroid talk :)
