Talking about mental health in communities of color is the main focus of our community here. Over the next few weeks we will be talking about the importance of mental health in communities of color. We hope you will join us in our conversation about mental health.

Over the next few weeks, we will be discussing:

  2. Talking with friends about mental health

  3. Talking with family about mental health

  4. Seeking help for mental health



Although May is Mental Health Awareness Month, we know it is important to talk about mental health everyday. We look forward to connecting with you and hearing your thoughts.

Definitely self-care, like was mentioned previously! I feel like sometimes it’s important to prioritise ourselves before others, especially when it comes to our mental health. A good self care plan means we can be there for others, too.
