Also recommend the works of R. D. Laing (e.g. The Politics of Experience, The Divided Self) for a discussion of the social/interpersonal/cultural origins of schizotypy/schizophrenia and how much of what is considered "madness" can possibly be reframed as a sane/adaptive response to "mad" or unlivable situations.
