Worried about my sister

Obviously there is mental illness history in our family. My sister is 16, and I've noticed her exhibiting symptoms of ocd. She refuses to admit it or go to a doctor to be diagnosed and treated. I have seen her get upset over the smallest things. First she starts hyperventilating, thenyelling, and finally curls up in a ball on the floor and criesabout how she can't deal with [insert trigger]. I don't know how to help her. She is going to college in a couple of years, and I'm moving across the country, so I can't physically be there. I'm afraid for her safety.

@ScarletLetters - It's understandable to be worried for your sister, especially when distance will make it harder for you to be there to help. Have you been able to talk to her or your parents about your concerns? What resources do you think might help her get the support she needs?
