Small Goals/Big Goals

Sometimes having goals can be tricky since we have the tendency to decide on goals that can be too big to achieve and we might get too frustrated for not being able to get it done immediately.

For example, instead of saying "I wanna quit smoking", we could try saying "I want to quit smoking. So for that, I'll try to reduce it to (X) cigars per week." That way it's easier for us to achieve the big goal and be able to not get so frustrated.

So I ask, do any of you have any small goal? :)

Do you find it difficult to achieve your goals?

Yes! Exactly! Small goals can be so helpful!

My small goals involves working out for at least 30 minutes a day!💛✨

You're spot on! Sometimes in my head I think I can just do this certain thing but then 2 days later I'm still getting things ready and then get discouraged and then it fades into no priority oblivion. if I just did the small steps first and in order, I don't think the discouragement would be there as to not finish the project. I heard a saying somewhere.. "take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselves". Thanks for the post.

@IsayUncle yes! I totally get what you're saying, as I get frustrated sometimes as well! I hope you can try to do the little things first and im sure you'll see different outcomes! Wish you all the best :)

@Bryanwu2006 I love that! When I was in college what I would do is estimate hours per day to study, would that be possible for you?
