What is Mindfulness
Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens.
Mindfulness also involves acceptance, meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them—without believing, for instance, that there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to think or feel in a given moment. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.

I really like this perspective on mindfulness! I think it helps alleviate the pressure that we have to give reasoning to our thoughts. As someone who struggles with intrusive thoughts, I think it's important not to give any significance to these thoughts because they are just thoughts and don't mean anything. Thank you for this reminder to practice kindness to ourselves!
@fruityPond7887 thoughts always just that. Thoughts. They are not facts.
I'm glad it helped.
