Dopamine and Fear

Can dopamine regulation help with fear management?


I wonder if restricting distractions-derived-pleasure can mitigate fear of experiencing pain. I’ve lately struggled a lot with being present outside of formal meditation sessions. I’m hunted by anxiety and panic attacks. Practicing mindfulness feels like not enough anymore. Maybe if I could smooth out the pain-pleasure seesaw excursion, then also my fear of suffering would adjust automatically.
