We are so happy that you have joined us and we hope to see you around lots in the forums and our chatrooms :D

Thanks so much for the welcome! I'm so excited to be apart of the Mindfulness Community!
My name is Sam. I try to incorporate mindfulness into my daily routine as it provides me calmness and clarity to take on my daily tasks. I work as a Registered Veterinary Techinician- I'm a big animal lover. Cats are my favourite though- I have two of my own, Otis and Bazil. Otis is a nervous guy but loves cuddles and affection once he's comfortable with you. Bazil is an outgoing love bug. He's also an adventure kitty- he goes hiking, camping, and kayaking with me.
In January I'm going back to school to work towards becoming an Indigenous Social Worker. Advocating for mental health and social justice is very important to me. I'm hoping to use animal-assisted therapy in private counselling, as well as working with Service Dogs in order to combine both of my passions for helping people and animals.
Once again, thanks so much welcoming me into the community! I look forward to meeting with you all 😊
@FlowerTheSun Hello there friend! Welcome to the community! It's great to have you here with us!
@FlowerTheSun
Hiya Sam, welcome to the mindfulness team! I look forward to seeing you around more in our community :)
Thank you for sharing about how you incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine, that's really awesome. And yes cats are amazing and both of yours sound lovely, give them hugs from the mindfulness team! I really admire how you are working hard for something that you are passionate about - keep on going and don't give up, especially if you are enthusiastic about helping people and animals! You can do it ❤️

@livefreely04 You are very welcome!
Hello everyone, I am new here as well!
Hello everyone! It's funny I actually made 7cups account 3 years ago but my life was flowing in a way that led me off this amazing platform, and now it landed me back here again! I am so amazed by this community! And here I am, in mindfulness area, writing my first post ever! Yey!
Mindfulness is part of my everyday life and since I started living in a mountain village few months ago, I emersed myself into it even more! I study body psychotherapy, and being in contact with your body is all about being mindful.
Could you guys refer me to some live chat or a link to a forum where we can discuss about mindfulness more deeply?
Thank you so much and I am so happy to get to know you!
