Long distance talking

I met someone on Grindr named James. We exchanged photos and then started talking on Snapchat. He is a flight attendant. We have been talking since may of this year. I know we like each other because we have talked and snapped one another via Snapchat. I’ve been struggling with communicating with him because he’s working a lot more than me and he only responds to me once a month, twice at most maybe. It’s been a struggle for me lately because I’m always missing the talks and the conversations we are having. I just worry about how all this will play out. If anyone has any advice please don’t hesitate.
