I felt like I was disgusting

I feel bad, I don't know if my mother said those things trying to refer to me, but I'm ashamed, mostly because I can relate to that line "They can't hide what they are", she said much worse things, but that one It felt personal, I'm not even trying to come out and I don't want to either, I'm afraid she's realizing things.

@Jellyfish829 I'm so sorry to hear you're getting so much hate from a person who should support you more than anyone.
Keep in mind that whatever she says does not define you, no one's prejudice should make you doubts your self worth. There's nothing wrong with who you are and everything wrong with judging people for their identity.
Stay safe, you don't have to come out if you think your safety (both physical and mental) would be in danger, but you can still try to build yourself a support net and come out to people outside your family, be it a trusted friend or an LGBT collective near you.

NO YOU ARE NOT!!
YOU ARE NOT DISGUSTING!!!
You are a person , who maybe likes or identifies with something different to what the society standard is and the expectations that others have.
Being LGBTQ+ It's a part of you, without it you would feel incomplete, Like a puzzle with the central piece missing.
Giving you hugs!!!
I hope everything goes well!!!
