I'm 31 Gay and a recovering alcoholic. I currently have 4 months sobriety.


I used to get my confidence and courage from alcohol but now I'm sober I'm all alone, no friends, no lover :( what's the point anymore.

Sounds like a dark patch of life for you now. Sometimes we have to reach the bottom before bouncing back. Look at every day as a chance to make things better, even if only slightly. Finding a friend is great, but not an easy task. Certainly doable. Easiest done by helping others .

@lonelyguy2022 My suggestion is to find a nearby pride center of some kind. You could create bonds.
