What do I do (Muslim respondents only, apologies for this as I need advice from other Muslims)

desres January 12th

Asalaamualaikum my muslim brethren and siblings, I am a practicing Muslim but a transsexual. My family is heavily against this, especially my sister who is telling me to 'stop this nonsense' and that it is a phase even though she used to be supportive of me and used to be apart of the community. She tells me how her and her friends have faced this and reverted/detransitioned and said that the LGBT is bad. She tells me it is haram and brings up two verses, one regarding the condemning saying 'a man cannot imitate a woman and vice versa' and the second relating to the story of Lut. She also tells me that gender and sex are the same, which I have tried explaining to her that 'no, they are not the same'. I ended up crying because of how I felt bad that I am considered a sin in Allah's eyes. She tells me I have one month to stop this 'nonsense'. She believes that these transgender people take surgeries, look like zombie girl (if you don't know, she is basically this woman who took multiple surgeries and deformed her skin) and then end up committing suicide/regretting it, she tells multiple stories of someone who transitioned, got an infection and regretted it, (all her stories are from detransitioners) majority of the stories she is telling me was exactly like this. I told her, this is false and that she is listening to Candace Owens (while I respect some of her views regarding Islam and the opposition of genocide), I don't fully agree with her. I need advice from any fellow Muslims regarding this/quotes from the Imams regarding this issue, I also would like verses in the Quran that may help me when discussing with her.
