I forgot 1 question...
Why is passive aggression so damaging to our community?
It hurts everyone that sees it and more because emotions change and pass on through words and actions.
What are the 5 signs of passive-aggressive communication?
Silent Treatment, Subtle Insults, Procrastinating on Purpose, Sabotage, Keeping Score
What is one example of passive-aggressive behavior you have experienced in your life?
sabotage definitely
Why is passive aggression so damaging to our community?
Passive aggression is damaging because it's dishonest
@Heather225
1. the silent treatment, subtle insults, procrastinating on purpose, sabotage, Keeping Score
Sometimes i do procrastinate on purpose, I always say, I'll get to it later but then I'm lazy to do it.
Passive-agressive behaviours are harmful because they take away kindness and responsibility from our community.
@Heather225
What are the 5 signs of passive-aggressive communication?
frequently criticizing or protesting, not finishing task given to me, being hostile towards others, blaming others for mistakes I did, proscrastion in not getting tasks done.
What is one example of passive-aggressive behavior you have experienced in your life?
not getting tasks complete, I start them then move onto something else when something gets in my way
Why is passive aggression so damaging to our community?
it can reflect onto others
@pamharley003
I'm glad that you've had time to reflect upon yourself, I think everyone had experienced with passive agression one way or another so you're not alone!
What are the 5 signs of passive-aggressive communication?
- Silent treatment, subtle insults, procrastinating on purpose, sabotage, keeping score.
What is one example of passive-aggressive behavior you have experienced in your life?
- I've experienced silent treatment before with a relationship. I would send many messages and get no responses back even though they're online and I know they've read the message. It left me really confused and also just stuck because they denied any chances of us talking the problem out by blocking me out temporarily.
Why is passive aggression so damaging to our community?
- Passive aggression is so damaging to our community because it hinders the high warmth value in the community between members. If we don't feel enough warmth for each other, it would be really difficult to collaborate and improve as a team. This can also increase the chance of us using triangulation to vent.
@herealways27
silent treatment hurts a lot :( sorry that you have gone through it and I'm glad now you've had time to reflect upon the situation.

@Heather225
What are the 5 signs of passive-aggressive communication?
1. silent treatment
2. subtle insult
3. procastinating on purpose
4. sabotage
5. keeping scores
What is one example of passive-aggressive behavior you have experienced in your life?
I would say subtle insults are common behaviours I see from others in my life.
Why is passive aggression so damaging to our community?
it because passive agression confuses others and therefore people's needs are not communicated clearly, lead to damaging relationship and stored anger.
@Heather225
The five signs of passive agressive communication are the 'silent treatment', 'subtle insults', 'procrastinating on purpose', 'sabotage', and 'keeping score'. One example of passive-agressive behavior I have experienced in my life is the 'silent treatment'. During teamwork, me and one of my teammate had a disagreement about the schedule of our weekly meetings. I tried to solve the disagreement by coordinating the time schedule by communicating with her through text messages, but she didn't respond to me for 3 days to show that she was upset with me. Passive agression brings negative effects to our community because these behaviors often breaks relationships and bonds in the community easily without giving a chance for them to fully communicate and solve their conflicts. Also, it is not a direct way of showing one's emotions to other people so it may be harder for the one who is experiencing passive agressive behavior to deal with it.
@Heather225

Procrastinating on purpose
Subtle insults
Keeping Score

It would be the silent treatment and procrastinating on purpose.
3. Why is passive aggression so damaging to our community?
Since our community is built on the scaffolding of warmth, support and friendliness, any form of passive-aggressiveness would be destructive to the culture we build on 7 cups. That’s why passive aggression should be avoided at all costs and healthy communication should be established.

Passive aggression is so damaging for out community because it is a form of showing loss of trust in the community and it can actually reduce the trust, the warmth and communication that are so important for the community to grow and reach its goal
@shiningSky3745
Great response :) I truly like how you answered the second part; self-awareness at its finest
@Heather225 The five signs are- silent treatment, subtle insults, procrastinating on purpose, sabotage, keeping score. I’ve personally experienced the silent treatment. Passive aggressiveness can be damaging to our community, it confuses people and can lead to them feeling inadequate and hurt. It should not be done on purpose to hurt others.
@Readylistener
Short, sweet and to the point :)
