Sadfishing? ðŸ˜
Just thought I'd share here and I welcome anyone's comments.
There's a friend of mine at work who keeps updating her status in fb. Sad status, depressed and so on. Then others be like, giving her attention, etc.
But few minutes later, they would comment on someone's posts cheerfully?!
It happened too many times, everytime she doesn't get attention. It amazes me how much effort they put in faking it, writing on the wall of how much they suffer. But once they get the attention, they would be happy.
It bothers me and some of my colleagues at work that we google this symptom lol. Guess what? There is that 'faking illness behavior'. It's called Sadfishing.
Have you ever known someone like that? Tell me in replies

I find that funny of a name "sadfishing" but it fits well.
i have siblings that all fit this mold ....... always have a sad tale to tell hoping for both sympathy and hoping someone offers to "help" them by giving them money........
