Can't attach photos

Can someone help me? When starting a thread, there is no option to attach a photo. When replying to someone, Theres a link of a picture, at the bottom. when I click on it, it opens my photo files. If I click on it, it will select it, and I get the spinning icon but it won't attach anything. Not sure what the problem is. Can anyone help me? Is it my phone, maybe?
