Mixed emotions today

13 years ago my niece was born and the one person who helped raised her isn't here to celebrate and that breaks my heart but I am also happy to get to celebrate this day with my niece. I miss you mom and I love you, next week will be harder because it will be your birthday and this will be your first birthday we have had without you being here. These last five months have been really hard on me and there are days I feel like I will never get over losing you.
