Lupe's Poetry corner
Hello everyone, my name is Lupe and I like to write poetry... at least I used to. Before, I would write a lot of poetry in my journal or post some on Wattpad, but lately, I've been feeling unmotivated. I do want to be a more positive and self-loving person, but when it comes to writing, I can only write what I know. Sometime's it's self-affirmations and sometimes it's more personal depressive poetry. I think my sad poetry is my best because it's what I know best, unfortunately. Anyway, this is my space to put that all out. Anyone is welcome to post poetry and comment if they want <3
Some ground rules please to address my triggers: Please no romantic poetry, or anything about physical intimacy or sex. Please just be respectful and kind!
Today's writing:
"I know heartbreak like the palm of my hand.
Midnight shivers run through my veins
and I despise
how my fingertips move in paths of pain across my body,
retracing the bloody steps of yesterday.
They cling to my skin, pulling, pulling, pulling.
I don't want to be pulled apart
but that is all my hands know"

Miracles
He showed me dreams
Such mystical beings
Showing me horizons
I’d never reach
Whispering
Such beautiful lies
Giving me hope
Then stealing them away
Right from the tips
Of my bleeding fingers
i love writing poetry too and well i write a lot of it, i hope you like this poem of mine!

This is beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time <3 thank you for sharing. I hope you keep writing :D. Do you have any tips for me on how to write more often and more pationatey? I can be suchhh a lazy writer.
I see it in the back of my head like yesterday
The demon twisting my body
Banging the blood off my forehead
And the screams. The screams that swallowed me whole.
The cuts at my fingertips and
The scratches on my side
Burning. Burning. Burning.
The screams lick at the flames and eat me alive.
They swallow me whole.
I burn. I shrivel.
I shiver until there is no more me.
The twisting, the shaking, the blood off my head. The screams.
The shivers terrify me the most.
