As a listener i'd like to be your river
She wasn't sorry for what she was doing. In fact, the exhilarationof breaking the rules sent shivers down her spine. It was as cold as the night was dark, not a single person could be seen in the park, and although the world whispered the sorrows of its loneliness she was glad no one was around to see her. She headed blindly towards the bridge, the blanket of night wrapping around her holding her comfortably in it its solitude. Finally her world would stop spinning; the ground wouldn't feel like the glass she walked on at home, she couldrelax. She could hear the calm wash of the water beneath the bridge now. Slowly is kissed the shore line only to be pulled once away once again by the never ending force of the tide. The bridge creaked under her feet reminding her that all calm seems to be broken in the chaos that surrounds her life. As she climbed over the railing she inhaled the scent that brought her stumbling back to her childhood, this was the only place she felt safe anymore. Tonight was for her she thought, as she propelled herself from the edge of the bridge and into the cool deep water beneath her. The water washing away the insecurities she harboredin the face of the daylight, slowly her shoulders felt less heavy, and her mind seemed to settle. If this were to be her end she wouldn't mind. The river was quiet; it did not judge her feelings of criticize her soul. It simply listened to the race of her heart beat slow, and swept away the remains of a day she desperately needed to escape. Breaking the silence she got out of the water, and taking with her the blank slate the river had created for he, she headed home.

Its so beautifully written, and perfectly depicts what our goal as listeners should be!:) I totally loved it, did you write it yourself?
