Exercise in Empathy

Hi everyone,

I don't know if someone has ever posted this video before, but here we go: LINK.

It's a video when CNN's Anderson Cooper triedto go through a normal day using a schizophrenia simulator. He called this an exercise in empathy, to feel what it's like to live with schizophrenia. He used headphones and listened to recorded voices and while he used it, he tried to do a series of tests and got through a normal day, which he found incredibly difficult, depressing, and negative.

"It makes you feel completely isolated from everyone else around you,? that's what he said. "It's eye-opening because it shows you what other people must be going through who have to deal with this on a regular basis."

Thank you for posting this. A very novel way to illustrate empathy.

This is amazing! Thanks for posting it :)

I found something similar - the actor John Barrowman trying how it is to be deaf for a day. Interesting video and account as well :)
