Dream House?
How would you desribe your dream house? My dream house has a lot, and i mean a lot of natural light seeping through huge windows across the house. New, clean, non creaking wooden tiles, colourful furniture, and lots of storage. This dream house is my motivation to work and make my dreams come true. As we all know, wishing for things is not how we get things in life, working is! :) i would love to know what your idea of a dream house is, and feel free to be creative. :)
@AnjaliB My dream house would be fairly small, have wooden floors, with a sun room. I think I would want muted colours, like browns and light pastels. I would love to have many plants all through the house and a big, wild garden! I'd love having art from my friends all on my walls, and a place to just be creative :) My bedroom would be super cozy with a window seat and fairy lights~

This is beautiful, and a great meditative exercise, thank you! I love these descriptions. Here is mine:
A nice spread of acerage with lots of trees, a small field and pond, a garden, and many birdhouses. Lots of Lawn Gnomes and wind chimes in front of a large front porch with a swing, a nice dark brown door with brass handle and knocker, and the house itself a modest 4 bedroom, two bath, with one utility room and 2 1/2 bathrooms, and a large living room. The kitchen would have a nice big center island and lots of good cutlery and cookware, pots and pans, all copper, hanging on hooks in strategic areas.
The colors would be woodsy and a lot of earthy tones, amber. Beautiful ornaments in front of the windows that would catch the light and throw sparkling colors on the walls when the sun hit them. A fireplace. An attic. The office would be large enough for a modest, but impressive, library. Plus, 3 screens for a high-end PC, and a second desk with a typewriter that is half writing desk, half art-desk with one corner being like a mini studio full of art supplies and materials, with a few works-in progress.
My dream house would be a modern and sustainable one. It would be located in an area surrounded by nature, where I can wake up to the sound of birds singing and breathe fresh air. The house would have a lot of natural light, an open floor plan, and a large garden.
In terms of interior design, I would love to have a cozy and minimalist style, with comfortable furniture and lots of plants. I would also like to have a home office, a gym, and a library where I could read and relax.
Lastly, my dream house must be environmentally friendly, with solar panels, natural ventilation, rainwater harvesting, and energy-efficient appliances. I believe that having a sustainable home can reduce my carbon footprint and contribute to a better future.
My dream house would be a cozy retreat nestled in the midst of nature, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful landscapes. It would have large windows that let in ample natural light, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Inside, I'd have a spacious open-concept kitchen, perfect for cooking and entertaining loved ones. The living room would feature a fireplace, adding a touch of coziness during winter evenings. Additionally, a private study with a view of the garden would be my personal haven for reading and creative pursuits. Recently, I bought my dream house, but it needed some renovation work to truly become the perfect home. One of the major tasks was replacing the roof. Thankfully, I came across the Roofing Association website, which provided valuable information and guidance on finding the right roofing contractors and materials. Their resources were instrumental in ensuring a smooth and successful roof replacement process. Now, I'm one step closer to having my dream house exactly the way I envisioned it.

Fairly spacious, enough to not overwhelm me. With some lovely neighbors, a slightly medium sized library. Nano white kitchen counter at the centre of the kitchen, and minimal furniture, enough to keep things organized and other things as per the requirements of my peers. And lastly, a nameplate at the door with my mum's name on it.
