What are you doing to utilize your time during lockdown/ self-isolation?
I know it isn't an easy time for anyone and all feeling stressed and challenged. But to stay safe, this is only option available to all of us right now.
So, What are you doing to utilize your time during lockdown/ self-isolation?
@ASilentObserver
I've done homework almost every single day, but next week is spring break. Other than homework, I've played outside with my brother, knitted, played some video games, and worked on my bead art. My dad also taught me how to make broccoli and cheese soup the other day and it was actually pretty good, so that's one more thing that I know how to cook.
I'm studying, because yesterday I had an exam and the next one is April 3rd. meanwhile, I also help in the house to clean and cook!
A lot of drawing. I'm not that affected by the self isolation since I don't really have any irl friends......
@AlexFox800 I understand, it can be quite boring. Have you tried to go to events before to make new friends?
@bubblejet4979 A little bit. I'm making attempts with someone. I'm getting there :)
@AlexFox800 that's good to hear. How's that been going? What did you get up to today?
@ASilentObserver honestly when I don't feel extremely negative, I just do the bare minimum. The most that I do besides taking care of myself is watching self help videos from my favorite life coach on YouTube, Michelle Lee Nieves coaching and writing a diary. I haven't really done anything specifically different so far. I'm just trying to muster up courage and motivation to be happy, for real.
I read books and novels .. I cook
Play Sport @ASilentObserver
I've mustered up the courage to join an online language exchange community.
I'm currently also working on a volunteer-based translation project.
I really miss being able to go for a walk though.
@ASilentObserver
Every morning i write down what i have to do each day, i journal and try to practice mindfulness so i wont go crazy. I think thats it
I've been sleeping in but not too long, Journaling, using my planner to be able to finish all my assignments, online dance classes and pilate classes. Spending time with my sister and my family (depending). Baking, and getting on 7 cups more.
@ASilentObserver trying to workout, make videos sew, make music or do anything productive. Lately I've been slacking though, most days are the same just being on my phone and texting/ playing games.
@ASilentObserver Working on new music to release when lockdown finishes, and listening to as many 7cups members as possible daily.
