Group Mod Challenge- Part II
Welcome back, Mod Squad! Thank you for joining and participating in the first challenge! Congratulations and thank you to all who participated in the first challenge. I hope you all enjoyed learning about each other’s communication styles and how the room environment could change based on your communication style.
It reflects that how you communicate and interact has a huge impact on the support level and safety level of the chatroom. There is no perfect communication style but to be an effective communicator, you need to adapt and change the way you communicate based on the chatroom, environment, and situation. It is always good to develop a flexible approach to interact with the members in the chatroom to provide support and a listening ear to them. Let’s continue doing it.
And speaking of challenge, welcome to Mod Challenge- II. This challenge is focused on earning badges related to moderation and discussions.
Complete these tasks and nominate fellow moderators for the following badges, if they completed it
Discussion Badges
If you already have these badges, then you could complete the tasks again to achieve as many badges as you can. For example, if you are working towards the Mod Champion badge category, then have a look at your total group chats count and add 8 group chats to it to get’em.
This challenge will be for the next two weeks. At the end of this two-week challenge, you will receive information for the next one! And at the end of the quarter, the top 3 chat room moderators who complete all the challenges successfully and meet the criteria of the award-winning mod will be awarded the badge: Award-Winning Mod!
Note: The first challenge updates will be shared on May 01, 2021.

Might be the last update from me for a while as I've completed most of requirements for mod challenge, so I'll redirect my attention to doing other tasks while still monitoring ER mod requests when I'm online. (Semi self-care break haha.)

Wow! So many ER mod requests through forms today. Though I only got a few haha. Com mods response speed is amazing and that's to be respected.

Literally all my response counted for are Newbie hub rooms. 😅 But yes being global mod does come with advantages in this aspects.

05/17/2021 Follow-Up Post!
Hello Mod Squad, I hope you are all doing well. I appreciate you all to keep the member chatrooms safe, compassionate, and supportive for all while fostering healthy and kind conversations for the community. This is the follow-up post to remind you that two weeks of the challenge are completed. Please share what all badges you achieved and completed in the last two weeks in this post thread.
Also, the challenge is extended till Friday and another new challenge will be announced in this week. Stay tuned for more updates on it. Let's keep taking care of our community and each other.

Thanks Obs! These challenges give me incentive to work harder.
(I accidentally got the mod siren badge so would be grateful if you could remove it till I earn it).
I have Mod Champion, Mod Major, Mod On, Mod Star, Mod Squad, Mediator Mod, Pop Up Ninja, I believe I qualify for Oprah and Conversationalist (I don't think I have those though). Just have to work towards the Mod Siren Badge which is tough since I can't mod in all rooms.

I've gotten the Mod Star, Mod On, Mod Major and Mod Champion badges. I've hosted discussions but I'm not sure how to get the final badges. Overall, I'm working towards the second box of badges (Mediator, Siren and Mod Squad).
