Is there anything that can be done to support listeners whose members/guests have come on this site with a severe case of verbal diarrhoea? I have just chatted with a guest whose initial contribution was 16 messages long. Not knowing when they are finished and not being able to get a word in edgeways is so infuriating. Can't we make s rule that it's one thread at a time (of unlimited length if necessary) in order to aid listeners?

I can completely understand your frustrations! I actually see the two polar ends of this spectrum quite a bit. Sometimes I will get someone who barely speaks at all and makes it hard to keep a conversation going, then on the other hand I will get a member/guest as you describe who can

Hi @paul1982! This can definitely be a frustrating situation. I know that I start to get a little overwhelmed when members send many messages all at once! I agree with Alicattt that limiting the amount of messages a member can send at a time might not be a viable option for the site, but I do know that members can get a little out of hand with the number of messages they send all at once and that can be challenging for the listener trying to support them. Also, as only ten are stored at one time having all of these messages means some go off the end which surely only serves to impede your accuracy and judgement
