Confining threads
Is there anything that can be done to support listeners whose members/guests have come on this site with a severe case of verbal diarrhoea? I have just chatted with a guest whose initial contribution was 16 messages long. Not knowing when they are finished and not being able to get a word in edgeways is so infuriating. Can't we make s rule that it's one thread at a time (of unlimited length if necessary) in order to aid listeners?

I can completely understand your frustrations! I actually see the two polar ends of this spectrum quite a bit. Sometimes I will get someone who barely speaks at all and makes it hard to keep a conversation going, then on the other hand I will get a member/guest as you describe who can
Hi @paul1982! This can definitely be a frustrating situation. I know that I start to get a little overwhelmed when members send many messages all at once! I agree with Alicattt that limiting the amount of messages a member can send at a time might not be a viable option for the site, but I do know that members can get a little out of hand with the number of messages they send all at once and that can be challenging for the listener trying to support them.
