What treatments have been successful for you besides therapy and medication to treat grief and anger?

What types of treatments weren't beneficial?

Is there anything else you are interested in trying in the future?

Hello! I think that for the grief the best remedy is time. It sounds like a cliché, but a person does need enough time to adapt and accept the new reality. What is helping in this healing process might depend on the person. I benefited from art therapy - especially music and I also plan on getting a new musical instrument. When my grief felt too much, talk therapy also provided me some relief because a therapist can help to process and organize thoughts and feelings, and this is what I needed.

What about you? Have you already found what works/ does not work for you?

@globalBraid3744 I connect with people I am close to but I recognize this may not be enough or an option for everyone.

Connecting to people that are close is also powerful! For me personally, it is also helpful.

@wonderfulMagic99 I'm currently dealing with grief. my dad passed away last year, and I'm just always angry.

exercise has been helping me immensely. I'll do cardio or strength training and I get that release of anger and I get those feel-good chemicals in my brain.
