I lost my mom on January 10th, 2023. She had fallen down the stairs and afterwards had a metal rod placed in her pelvis. The hospital put her on oxygen and when she came home she refused to take it. She passed away in her sleep. She was cold to the touch the following morning. We still have not scattered here ashes, my brother and I.

@Walker2024 awww sweetie that's heartbreaking🙁 I'm so sorry you lost your mum 😥 dieing peacefully in her sleep is comforting to know though ❤ it's hard to loose such a precious family member especially with the holidays coming up. Sits beside you and hugs you tightly ❤ there's no rush to scatter her ashes, take your time to go through the emotions. Do you and your brother know where you'd like to scatter her ashes, when your ready??

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Especially losing a parent can be extremely difficult to cope with. How have you been coping with it so far?

Scattering the ashes can be difficult. It's normal to cling to the last remains we have somebody close to us. What do you think might need to happen for you and your brother to be able to take that step?
