Supporting a friend through grief

imreallygreat September 9th

A close friend of mine lost a parent almost a year ago. The grief is of course still really bad and I’m don’t know what I can be doing to support.

They’re too nice and polite to ask me to do things when times are hard - any advice on what I can be doing to actually make their life easier while processing loss?

@imreallygreat you being there is enough<3 Always let them know that you are there for them no matter what. It's really heartwarming to see that you want to help in any way that you can. Sometimes the change in the way people behave can be hard to handle so maybe just be the friend that you've always been to them and hopeful that normalcy might help them feel a bit better.
