Hello everyone!!(っ^▿^)۶🍸🌟🍺٩(˘◡˘ )

I have chosen May 1st to be the starting point of two, month long challenges to earn two badges!! The Self-care and self-love badge! Start May 1st, end May 31st!

Self-care - Exercise at least 3 times a week for a month!╰☆╮
Self-love - Do something nice for yourself everyday for a month!╰☆╮

I wanted to invite everyone to join along with me!! It can be hard to do this along, sticking to commitments is no easy task!! However I wanted to gather people so we can do it together and be supportive of one another during the month of May!!

Because I mean for real, exercing? Not easy!! But we can do it!!

Post if you would like to commit to either or both of these self care &love challenges and what you have done through out the month!!

Hmm.. So I'm trying to think about what nice things I can do for myself everyday. I have to be diligent and to something everyday.

One nice and loving thing I can do for myself is saying positive affirmations such as
"I love and accept myself".

Another thing I can do is a self-care thing. Just taking some time and giving my own self empathy and being understanding with myself. I don't feel doing something needs to be an action per say, I believe it can be emotional and spiritual edification as well.

I believe that even doing things like cleaning my room or organizing my desk is a nice things and self-love. I believe that common things can become so much more when we give intentional meaning to them. I feel that even making yourself coffee can count, and we we make ourselves coffee, tell ourselves how we are worth it and give ourselves, self-appreciation. I feel that can be a very gentle and powerful thing to do.

The last thing I want to do is panic or stress in this challenge because it's supposed to be all about self-care and love. Maybe one day I can be nice to myself with telling myself I don't have to do anything. and that in it of itself is something. Giving myself freedom and love in that way maybe the most powerful thing that can be done in this challenge.

Just thinking about things I can do, makes me feel so much warmer and content inside. These are things I consider to be self-love and they are things that I feel every human being needs. I'm proud of myself, I love myself. I am worth it.

I just wanted to invite others to do it with me as I work through each day and document what I did as proof I completed the requirements for these two wonderful badges :)!!

When you have completed the entire challenge: something nice everyday for yourself and exercising 3 times a week, for a month. You can apply for these badges on your dash board writing that you have done it :) If you write down what you did on this form thread, you can link it to them as proof :)! Neat huh :D!!

Hi! I would love to join too! However, I'm kind of confused as to how we record it. Do we post what we did each day at the end of the month, or do we post every day (that seems like it would beunnecessarilyannoying)? Thanks!

Hello! All good questions~!

I did not create the badge so I don't think it matters where you record it, however I made this thread for people to do this challenge along with me. If you'd like, you can keep track of everything in a word document, on a piece of paper, or just in your head. I do believe that in the end it is the honor system. There's no real way we can prove anything, other than us just saying we did it.

I'm not too worried about proof. This is just a wonderful self love and care challenge. Easy going, and fun. I don't think it's overly strict, I don't think if we miss a day everything is ruined, Everyday for a month doesn't need to be consecutive, I'm sure you can make up days. I believe that as long as we do 31 days of nice things for ourselves, them being all done in a row doesn't truly matter.

My intentions for this challenge:

Is to post about the things Idofor the self-love, so a nice thing daily challenge, and also the exercise days and dates for both.

This way I'm intentionally doing them, recording it, inspiring others and giving myself some structure to be successful with the challenge,because honestly, a one month challenge isn't easy. I havn't even been a listener for an entire month yet!

Sticking to things isn't easy for anyone, so when I finish this challenge It's going to be huge accomplishmentfor me. Let's rock!

I would like to contribute a couple of ideas for self-love.enlightened

1. Cook myself a favorite dish.

2. Buy myself a treat.

3. Make myself an origami to be kept on the study desk.

4. Take some time out and read a useful book.

5. Dedicate myself a love song on local radio.

6. Make/Buy a dress I always wanted to wear. I'm making myself a skirt.

7. Dress up all nice, and click nice pictures. [Confidence booster!]

8. Draw/color something fun.

9. Watch Rom-Com for hours.

10. Bi-cycle rides.

11. Write a letter to future-self.

12. Speak my heart out to another Listener.

13. Dance to a strange music.

14. Go to a concert.

15. Go to a jam pad.

16. Sing Hooked on a Feeling all day long.

17. Smile a lot. Like Sal khan says here, smile at living things, non-living things.

18. Forgive myself for all the bad I have done in last year.

19. Change wallpaper every week to something motivating.

20. Learn to write 'Thank You' letters.

21. Do nothing for a day.[also known as LYAADH]

22. Believe in James Blunt. You are beautiful.

23. Play with some kids.

24. Learn about String Theory and Black Holes.

25. Thank your teachers, mentors, parents.

26. Buy yourself balloons and decorate your room.

27. Play Happy on speakers. Include your neighbors and dance along.

28. Learn meditation.

29. Dress like a ninja, act like a ninja and move to this song.

30. Make a Batman Mask.

31. Be BATMAN for a day.
