hello everyone I hope that you are all doing well! I had a few questions regarding self-care and I would love to hear your thoughts.
1) how would you define self-care, in your opinion when you hear the word self-care what does it mean?
When I think of the word self-care I think of taking time for yourself, showing self-love, and doing activities that I enjoy.
2) How often do you practice self-care? (it doesn't have to be exact)
Personally, I practice self-care every day. I try to do something little for myself on a daily basis to make sure I'm looking out for myself.
3) How do you practice self-care?
I practice self-care bye making sure I spend time outside, by establishing good eating and sleeping patterns, spending time with family and friends, working on art projects, and spending time in the community.
4) Does self-care affect positivity, why?
Yes in my opinion, self-care does affect positivity. This is because when you self-care, you're more likely to have a positive attitude. Doing some self-care can also help you feel more positive when you might be feeling down. Self-care can also encourage others to stay positive. If your friend sees you practising self-care and how it makes you feel happy then they might want to try out your method of self-care and it will make them feel better also.
5) Are you grateful for your methods of self-care? Why?
I am extremely grateful for my methods of self-care, this is because when I've had a long day at school or work I have activities that I enjoy and ready for me to do when I get home. I can call up a friend or family member and we can talk about how her day went. I can come home and make a nice healthy dinner and it will help me regain energy. I can sit on my patio and a nice Saturday morning. There are lots of reasons why I am grateful for my methods of self-care. I have something to look forward to every day.

Self care to me, is doing something for yourself that brings you peace or happiness, something that makes sure you’re taking care of yourself, so that your mental and physical heath stay in tact
2) How often do you practice self-care? (it doesn't have to be exact)
I try my best to practice self care at least once a day
3) How do you practice self-care?
I practice self care by, reading, sleeping, going for walks, listening to music, talking to my friends, and cooking
4) Does self-care affect positivity, why? Personally I think it affects positivity because, self care is needed to get an escape form your regular pattern, which may be stressful. Without self care you would most likely be stressed or irritable most of the time

I am very grateful for my methods. Without them I feel like my mental and physical health would be lower and I wouldn’t be able to stay happy most of time.

1. What does self care mean?
I guess that self care starts by realizing that you deserve to treat your self with compassion and kindness and care, i think it means
recognizing what you need and taking time to forfill your personal needs, it is taking small mindful steps that improve your overall well being, I don't think that self care is always spa days and shopping but it is also creating and making choices to create a life where you feel happier and better and those step might be uncomfortable but I still think that they are self care cuz in the end they are going to make u feel better about yourself and improve your health.
2) How often do you practice self care?
Hmm I think that self care should be practiced every day, now do I accomplish this? No not really, so I guess that is something that I can work on, I guess that is something that I can try improve on and maybe trying to set five minutes and work that into my daily routine cuz I do know that it is important even though it can be challenging.
3) How can you practice self?
there are many ways that you can practice self care and it can be different for everyone, it could be going on a walk or eating healthy or taking a shower or sleeping these would be examples how you can physically take care of yourself, mentally you can take care of urself by meditation or talking to someone or doing a favorite sport or maybe drawing or doing something nice like volunteering or reading a book or doing a cross stitch or self care could also be things like setting boundaries or saying no or removing bad relationships in ur life, or listing what you are thankful or watch the sunset or putting urself first or spending time alone or asking for help or setting goals or making lists or just taking a break from everything or being honest with yourself and accepting yourself, or making a gratitude journal. Or spending time with pets and animals.

Self care affects you positively because it makes you feel good. It helps you reset and take a mental break so then it will also will physically approve our health cuz we are spending time and giving attention to our mental and physical well-being. It reduces stress and lifts weight of ur shoulders. it also reminds that our personal needs are important and that we have to take care of ourselves. It makes us feel better about ourselves so then we are better versions of ourselfs that show compassion and niceness and kindness and spread positivity to others. And because we feel better about ourselves we are more coffidant and comfortable with ourselves and then maybe we can have more strength and resliance when faced with challenges.

Self-care is anything that is done to take care of oneself just like one would, with a loved one.

I practise it almost every day, once I realised its value.
3) How do you practice self-care?
I do it by ensuring I have my meals one time, sleep well, meditate, exercise and give my 100% devotion to what I work at.

Yes, it does. Self Care stops one from engaging in self destruction and once one starts seeing their minds and bodies as something holy, they stop damaging it.
