Remember: No one is you, and that is your strength ❤️
We worry we don’t measure up, that we are inadequate or need to do better, be better… be our best. But we forget what others see in us, and that you as you are now is necessary and important to so many people around you.
Loving yourself isn’t about toxic positivity, it is about choosing to accept your flaws, your quirks and your uniqueness and loving yourself DESPITE these things.
Such a positive message , @twelvetigerlillies ! I appreciate you sharing it with the community ❤
I like how you mentioned about the difference between self love and toxic positivity! We can indeed love ourselves in all entirety, accept we have flaws and areas to improve upon but still choose to love and respect ourselves for the *being* we are ~ because again, no one is perfect and we can all certainly strive at getting better , one day at a time ! A touch of love in self improvement only acts the driving fuel,I feel ! ❤
@twelvetigerlillies I have a tough time doing that.
That’s okay to admit. I think we all do at times. It isn’t a linear process. There and both good and bad days on the path to continued self-love. I see it as a “practice” as opposed to a destination. There is no end point, therefore even some attempt is great ☺️
