Honouring Yourself Game💖🌟

Hey everyone! 👋

While inwards hatred continues to be normalized (and even romanticized) within modern society, it is easy to lose sight of who we are and what we believe in. We feel that our emotions control us instead of us controlling our emotions. We feel insignificant.

However, it is important to note that we will always be in control of ourselves. We as individuals were created to love and yet still fail to acknowledge the beauty of our own selves! We forget to honour our hands for lifting others up, our eyes for all that they are able to see, our legs for what they have stood up against. We have so much to love from ourselves, yet still barely acknowledge it.

So, today, I would like you all to indulge in a quick game - write about yourself as if you were your own crush! It's a pretty simple and straightforward concept, so I hope this game helps you love yourself a little more than you did yesterday. After all, there are always flowers for those who want to see them.

Cheers!

I'll start!

I love my unwavering kindness towards others. It makes me so happy that I'm able to have so much empathy within myself that I am able to easily understand the nature of those around me. I recently stood up for my community (LGBTQ+) in history class while knowing that everyone else in the room disagreed with me, but I felt really happy that I didn't succumb to the majority opinion which was immoral and inconsiderate towards minority groups. I also really like my septum piercing because I feel that it sets me apart from other people and really helps me express my individuality as a person! And OH MY GOD, I love how much I get so excited over really minor things. The other day, my friend gave me her juice box and I started hugging her with a huge smile on my face!!! I feel like the fact that my reaction came from raw, genuine emotion really shows how much I am able to care for those around me without having give-or-take expectations. I really love myself and I love how that enables me to love others just as much! 🤗

They're smart, witty and also very kind. They care deeply about the people who matter to them. She cackles when she finds something funny - its infectious.

When I'm around them, they always try to make me feel part of the group and listen to what I have to say.

Not for me. Never. Absolutely no way or reason. I don’t care what’s “normal/normalized” in society. Never have. Never will.

I love absolutely everything about myself, everything that makes me me. Everything that makes me who I am. I don’t care what anyone else thinks about me. Anyone who accepts me how I am, gr8. Anyone who doesn’t, I don’t care bc it’s their loss. Not mine.
