Small Pet Appreciation

Bunnylovesyou February 21st

Hi!

Welcome to the small pet thread! I have no clue if this is in the right community 🤭 but anyway! I've noticed a lot of stuff about dogs and cats. But what about our small animals? Our mice and bunnies and rats and hamsters and turtles and lizards and birds and all the other stuff! I mean some of those aren't small but you get the point!

If you have a pet that's not a dog or a cat, please feel free to post about them and their life and pictures!

I have had 4 rabbits in my life time. I'm going to post a little about them to get the ball rolling!

Our first bunny was Mr. Miracle. I was so young when we got him, I don't have any pictures sadly ): we were supposed to get a baby but we ended up with an adult bunny. He smelled really bad ngl. He was only with us for about 9 months before he passed on. He was a standard lop bunny and he had albinism.

Our second bunny we got is the very famous on cups Jeffery! He is still alive, and is almost 8 years old. He is an albino lionhead and he has dwarfism. Now his form of dwarfism makes his limbs smaller than usual, not affecting his body size. He is full of charecter and charm, and he is the reason for this thread. To the people who have said a bunny can't love like a dog, I will just inform you that I was away from jeffy for 5 days and when I got home i scooped him up and he just hugged my shoulder and just fell asleep, he missed me.

Which also today, I will be making a forum specifically for jeffy and pictures and life updates for all his fans on cups!!

next we had lucky. She unfortunately passed on January 31st. She was so sweet and kind. She was a standard farm rabbit. She lived to be 7 years old.

Finally, our newest bunny, who we just brought home yesterday, is Theodore. Theo is about 4 years old, he is a rescue. He was bought during covid 19 and unfortunately now that life is back to normal has been neglected. His owners mother tried her best but she just couldn't do what he needed, so we drove all the way from New jersey with him. He is already so well adjusted to our house and life and he loves being here and having so much room to run around! In about a week or so, we wil introduce him to jeffy (: I don't have many pictures aha

I have a golden retriever who is 2 years old and now he has some health problems. I found Pet Prescription Without Vet and hope it helps him. I also scheduled him for a check-up at the vet and I hope he will say that my dog is on the mend. He is my best friend and I want him to be well

I know this is an old thread but I saw it and had to comment! You have beautiful bunnies @Bunnylovesyou 🐰 I recently adopted my two boys - Flump and Rolo. They are Netherland Dwarfs and came from really neglectful conditions where they were used for breeding and making money. I hope I can give them a life of comfort now. I'd love to meet some fellow bunny lovers on here :)
