For the Better

We all go through moments in life, when everything seems impossible to overcome. When even your heart doesn't feel like it beats the way it used to. When taking a breath feels more like inhaling fire. When standing up feels exhausting but sitting down doesn't feel right either. When eating your favorite ice cream doesn't feel as rewarding as you wished it would and as it used to. When hugging someone you love doesn't seem to make it all stop. When being surrounded by the ones you love doesn't make that thing, that is eating you from the inside, go away. When all is too much but also not enough. 

Then let go. Don't give up, no, but give that thing up. Let that thing that doesn't want to dissolve on its own-no matter what you do-go. Let it do its way out of your heart and out of your mind; that's the only place it should be. Out. Not in you. 

Pretend until it's the case.

Such a great description, when there's something bothering us it really does become hard to let it go, or avoid it to impact us too deeply! 

As hard it may be, it can indeed be liberating to try and let the weight go! 🌞
