How open are you about your mental health?

TheWanderer27 November 6th, 2017

Hey guys,

I'm curious about how open people are about their mental health. I realise this could be a sensative subject for some people, and I'm not looking to upset anyone. As I said, I'm curious. I have always been very quiet and reserved about what I'm feeling, and why I'm feeling it. But lately (over the last year or so), I've grown a lot more open about those things. Sometimes it doesn't always seem to help, but in the long run, I'm hopeful it will.

I'm also wondering if certain countries or regions, cultures, jobs, etc influence how accepting others are of mental health issues. I guess I'm asking because we're always encouraged to talk about how we feel, and share with others, but is this always the best way?

Thanks,

TW
